WHAT POWER SUPPLY DO THE DEVICES NEED?
Our appliances require a standard mains connection 230 Volt 50Hz or 110 Volt 60Hz fuse protection min. 10A. The appliances have a protective grounding, which is usually provided via the connection.
WHAT MAINTENANCE DO THE DEVICES REQUIRE?
Regular maintenance is not necessary. Depending on how the device is used, the lighting element must be replaced, similar to the service life of a light bulb. Replacement is very simple and takes approx. 2 minutes.
WHAT REQUIREMENTS DO THE DEVICES PLACE ON THE MOUNTING SURFACE?
The mounting surface should be non-flammable with sufficient load-bearing. Installation of the flush-mounted model requires an adequately thick wall (approx. 140 mm). Flush-mounted models have already been installed in façade elements or insulated exterior walls (non-flammable insulating material, e.g. glass wool). If you are not sure whether installation is possible, please contact us. We will be happy to advise you.
HOW LONG DO THE LIGHTING ELEMENTS LAST?
The elements usually last for several years. It is not possible for them to become clogged with ash or, for example, deliberately inserted plastic film. In areas where the appliances run continuously and do not get cold during the day, the service life can be reduced to approx. 1.5 years, like a light bulb.
WHAT DOES A REPLACEMENT LIGHTING ELEMENT COST?
The cost of a replacement element is €29.90 plus VAT and shipping.
HOW IS THE SUPPLY CABLE INSERTED INTO THE DEVICES?
When using our surface-mounted model, the supply line can be fed in from above or below, or from behind if there is a risk of being tampered with; when using the flush-mounted version, the supply line is inserted into the housing to be plastered, similar to a flush-mounted box.
WHAT TYPE OF SUPPLY LINE IS REQUIRED?
We recommend a 3 x 1.5mm² 16 ampere fuse as the supply cable. We also recommend the use of a residual current circuit breaker.
WHAT ARE THE RETURN OPTIONS?
For new customers or customers who have no experience with our devices, we grant an extended right of return. If you are not satisfied with the device within one year, it can be returned for a full refund.
